INFRASTRUCTURE
Creating an infrastructure network for a holistic electric mobility, i.e. covering battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), is a main objective of this project. The infrastructures included in this project will cover, with the infrastructures part of other projects, South Tyrol. Furthermore, there will be a first expansion towards South following the Brennero motorway.
LIFEalps includes the installation of over 30 fast chargers for cars and buses which will complement the already existing infrastructure network.
A new production of green hydrogen is planned in Bolzano Sud, adjacent to the Eco Center. The new plant will allow to lower the production costs.
This project includes 5 hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS) for buses and cars in South Tyrol and along the Brennero motorway.
