To solve the eternal problem of e-mobility, i.e. the chicken or the egg dilemma, this project includes putting into operation pilot fleets in different parts of South Tyrol which need dedicated
infrastructure.
Before creating these pilot fleets, several criteria will be evaluated:
- Which technology (battery, fuel cell or a combination) satisfies most the users’ needs (a needs assessment is fundamental)?
- What kind of vehicle is needed (van, car, shuttle bus, etc.)?
- What vehicles are available on the market?
This project aims at creating fleets with both battery electric vehicles and fuel cell electric vehicles which will be used according to their strengths.
